The brewery currently has two returnable glass lines, one large line and one small line for glass bottles with swing tops. The company also fills kegs of draught beer on one line.
However, Alpirsbacher will no longer be filling swing-top bottles in future, EUWID was told.
The construction work for the new hall is on schedule. According to the plans, the new returnable bottling line will start at the end of September and keg filling at the beginning of October.
