Berentzen Group receives EcoVadis gold medal for the fourth time

“We are proud to have received this award for our continuous efforts in the area of sustainability for the fourth time,” explains Laura Schlochtermeier, Head of Sustainability at the Berentzen Group. The beverage group was awarded 72 out of a possible 100 points and honored with a gold medal. This is awarded to companies that are among the top five percent of the companies assessed by EcoVadis in the overall rating. “This result motivates us to consistently pursue our chosen path and to focus even more on ecological, economic and social sustainability aspects,” says Schlochtermeier.

The EcoVadis Sustainability Rating evaluates companies in the four areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. It is one of the most important global sustainability ratings and enables companies to classify their own sustainability performance within and across industries. To date, over 150,000 companies from 185 countries worldwide have been rated by EcoVadis.
