The Berentzen Group has announced it is halting shipments of Asmarani Gin, which was to be available in stores from July 1, 2021. Asmarani Gin was developed through subsidiary Pabst & Richarz in collaboration with musician Samra. This week, serious allegations of sexual abuse against Samra became public knowledge. Even though these are neither confirmed nor refuted at the current time, the Berentzen Group takes the allegations very seriously and has decided against this background not to deliver the Asmarani Gin to the trade.
