Double award: Mio Mio Mate is drink of the year 2024

The Mio Mio Mate from Vivaris Getränke GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft, has won two awards. The caffeinated soft drink took first place in two independent rankings.

Every year, Getränke Zeitung selects the best products and innovations of the previous year on the basis of an established trade survey with experts from the beverage wholesale trade. Mio Mio Mate took first place in the “Beverage of the Year - AfG” category. “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award for our Mio Mio brand,” says Tobias Wiesner, Managing Director of Vivaris.
Mio Mio Mate received the second award from the industry magazine fizzz. The magazine conducts an annual gastronomy survey in which owners and operators of trend-setting trendy restaurants are asked about their successful products. Mio Mio also came top in the “Mate” category.
“The double award makes us very proud and shows that we have understood consumers' desire for non-alcoholic, invigorating and modern drinks and have served them accordingly. The wide range of flavors under the Mio Mio brand have definitely become an integral part of the beverage landscape,” concludes Wiesner.
