Following its exclusive launch as a draft beer in the catering trade, Eifelbräu Landbier is now also available in bottles in the southwest. The light golden beer with five percent alcohol is drinkable and spicy-fresh in taste. It is rounded off with the hop varieties "Perle" and "Tradition" through a second hop addition and refined with Bitburger sealed hops from the Southern Eifel Nature Park. Available is the Eifelbräu Landbier in the typical 0.5-liter Euro bottle, for which there will also be a separate Eifelbräu crate.

"Eifelbräu Landbier stands for our claim to the best quality and select raw materials, as well as for our craft tradition - and is of course also a tribute to our homeland," explains master brewer Dr. Stefan Meyna. "Bitburger was founded in 1817 as a country brewery in the Eifel region and has since developed into one of the most important private breweries in Germany. We have always preserved our values in the process and want to express them with the Eifelbräu Landbier while maintaining the best and original taste."

Bitburger already introduced Eifelbräu Landbier to the restaurant trade last year. There, despite the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic and the unusually bad weather in the summer, it performed excellently and won over both restaurateurs and consumers. The retail launch in the southwest is now the next step, supported by a regional campaign with billboard and digital advertising.
