The Spanish brandy GRAN DUQUE DE ALBA launches in a new design with immediate effect
News General news
The Spanish traditional house Williams & Humbert wraps its award-winning brandy Gran Duque D'Alba in a new look, which is now available for the qualities Gran Duque D'Alba Solera Gran Reserva and Gran Duque D'Alba X.O. distributed by BORCO-MARKEN-IMPORT in the German trade.
The new bottle design takes a contemporary and modern approach that reconciles the traditions of the brandy, which originates in Jerez, Spain, with the spirit of the times, thus carefully transporting the brand into the present. In doing so, just as much emphasis is placed on the brand's core values as on its further development with regard to changing customer wishes. The revised bottle design features high-quality glass that underscores the exclusivity of this internationally famous brandy.
The original bulbous shape of the bottle has been slightly modified to give the design as a whole a higher recognition value and an appealing straightness. A slightly beveled shape at the bottom of the bottle, reminiscent of a cut glass decanter, creates a special feel and a standout look.
The closure has an improved shape and bears the coat of arms of the House of Alba. The color scheme of red for Gran Duque D'Alba Solera Gran Reserva and blue for Gran Duque D'Alba X.O. has been retained on the cork closure as well as on the characteristic neck ribbon. From now on, the words "Solera Gran Reserva" and "X.O" are found on the neck ribbon to further highlight these characteristics on the shelf.
The design maintains the characteristic and emblematic red ribbon with the medal bearing the likeness of the "Gran Duque D'Alba". The new design includes a new transparent label with the brand name, the category of the brandy and the curved signature of Gran Duque D'Alba (III). The new bottle is presented in an elegant black gift box.
