Brussels Beer Challenge: Bayreuther Hell awarded gold for the fourth time

Great joy in Bayreuth: Bayreuther Hell was awarded the gold medal at the prestigious Brussels Beer Challenge for the fourth time, making it the quality leader in the “Lager: Helles” competition category.

The Brussels Beer Challenge is one of the most prestigious tasting competitions in the beer industry, as only three medals are awarded in each category. Bayreuther Hell has been a guarantee for top placings since 2019: With now four gold and two bronze medals, the Bavarian Hellbier finds itself on the winners' podium for the sixth time in a row.
“Bayreuther Hell has been able to secure one of the hard-fought medals since we started taking part in the competition - that makes me incredibly proud! The renewed confirmation of the quality of our Hellbier is no coincidence: I would like to praise all our master brewers, who brew simply good beer every day with a lot of passion and heart and soul,” says a delighted Jeff Maisel.
The Bayreuth brewers are not only good at pale beer: Bayreuther Hefe-Weissbier was also able to prove its class repeatedly and was also awarded gold. This means that two medals went to the Bayreuth brewery, which is all the more remarkable given that only ten awards were given to beers from German breweries.
