Smoky new arrival at Cardenal Mendoza. The popular Brandy de Jerez launches the limited special edition Cardenal Mendoza Nebulis in early December. The special feature of the Spanish newcomer: an additional Rare Cask Finish for the unique smoky note. The already finished main product Cardenal Mendoza Clásico - aged on average 15 years in former sherry barrels - is additionally matured in barrels burned out with vines from the company's own vineyards. This creates not only a particularly smoky aroma, but also a great combination of manufacturing art and heritage. The Limited Edition Cardenal Mendoza Nebulis is available in the 0.7-liter bottle exclusively in the stationary Henkell Freixenet store in Wiesbaden and in the Henkell Freixenet online store at an RRP of 39.99 euros - only while supplies last.
Surprisingly smoked
Brandy and spirits lovers take note: With the introduction of the new Limited Edition, a new dimension of craftsmanship opens up for the classic Cardenal Mendoza. The name Nebulis (Latin for "from the clouds") is derived from the clouds of smoke created when the 250-liter barrels are smoked with vines from the company's own vineyards. In these special barrels Cardenal Mendoza Clásico matures additionally to become Nebulis. This so-called Rare Cask Finish creates the smoky aroma that characterizes the multiple award-winning premium wine spirit. The result is surprising: on the nose, the initially gentle, smoky notes gain intensity over time. On the palate, there is a spicy, balanced composition of fresh tobacco and notes from the elegant smokiness of the vine wood.
Unique design
The smoky aroma is also reflected in the unique design of this Spanish newcomer. The familiar colorful label of the classic appears in the Limited Edition in light shades of gray, reminiscent of clouds of smoke. The traditional wax hedgehog is also in noble gray. Matching the bottle, the accompanying gift packaging is also visually a real eye-catcher in the smoke look.
Cardenal Mendoza Nebulis is available exclusively in the stationary Henkell Freixenet store in Wiesbaden and in the Henkell Freixenet online store in the 0.7-liter bottle with the matching gift packaging at an RRP of 39.99 euros.
