Beverage producer Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Deutschland (CCEP DE) has invested €5 million in the modernisation of a bottling line at its Mölln refillable site in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
According to a statement, CCEP DE has two production lines on site. The aim of the modernisation was to increase the energy and water efficiency of one of the two lines. To this end, according to the group, the packing and palletising machines were renewed, as well as the electronic controls, the ventilation system, and also traffic and occupational safety were improved. The PET line was officially put back into operation on 22 July. It has a capacity of 33,000 bottles per hour.
The Mölln branch processes the standard range, i.e. Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite in both regular and sugar-free variants. These are filled in 1-litre returnable PET bottles.
