Double award for CHANTRÉ at the German Design Award 2025

Since 2011, the German Design Award has been setting international standards for innovative design developments and competitiveness on the global market. The award-winning products not only gain more visibility, but are also examples of visionary ideas with future potential. Both CHANTRÉ, Germany's best-selling brandy*, and the new product CHANTRÉ Crème - both from Nordbrand Nordhausen - impressed the international jury with their new and contemporary bottle designs. “With these awards, we have gained a valuable marketing tool to position our products even more successfully on the market,” says a delighted Patricia Emde, Head of Spirits Marketing at Nordbrand Nordhausen.

As part of the relaunch, CHANTRÉ brandy was given a complete makeover at the beginning of 2024: the label on the neck of the characteristic CHANTRÉ bottle was extended and now has a high-quality matt black finish, while the name lettering on the bottle has a lighter and more modern overall appearance without denying its roots. The new design was rated as very attractive by both buyers and potential new users in the user survey and has clearly boosted the brand's image in terms of quality and modernity. Parameters that also convinced the jury.

CHANTRÉ Crème was launched in April 2024. The cream liqueur with the taste of cream and caramel also scores points visually: the bright sleeve with pastel-colored elements presents itself in a floral-feminine look and thus appeals to a younger, generally female target group. Both products impressed in the “Packaging” category and each received the “Winner” award. An award that is highly regarded among experts. The award ceremony for the German Design Award 2025 will take place in Frankfurt at the beginning of February.
