Now it's time to go: with around 1000 pallets, Auer is starting the final practical test for its new high-bay warehouse in the Amerang Technology Park this month. After almost two years of construction and an investment of around 30 million euros, the ultra-modern, efficient logistics centre is ready to move big things. And that is meant quite literally: the fully automated warehouse holds 20,000 pallet spaces and will perfect the intralogistical processes on the now 90,000 square metre Auer site as early as April 2023.
With the completion of the new logistics centre, we have quadrupled our storage capacities and thus significantly expanded the range of services for our customers," Robert and customers," explain Robert and Philipp Auer, managing directors of Auer GmbH. "After an intensive planning phase and two years of construction, we can now
we can now get started on schedule!"
The advantages of the modern high-bay warehouse are obvious: for the first time, all Auer products are brought together at the site in a logistics chain with high process speed and optimal use of space. Fully automated, the production from three halls is now directly connected to the new warehouse.
The intelligent control system is energy-efficient and state-of-the-art. Part of the project is a large photovoltaic system with 1,320.00 kW. The electricity generated in this climate-neutral way is fed into the company's own power supply for the operation of the facilities.
