According to the Commission, it has come to the conclusion that although imports from China have had a negative impact on PET production in Europe, they have not yet caused material injury to the industry. However, this is imminent.
The anti-dumping duties range from 6.6% to 24.2%. Provisional measures were already imposed on 27 November 2023. PET grades with a viscosity of 78 ml/g or higher are affected. These are used for bottles, trays and containers for food, beverages, personal care products and consumer goods.
