fritz-kola is reorganizing its team to further drive the expansion of its European home market. Silke Grell will become the new Country Manager in Austria on October 1, 2024. Klaus Schmäing will succeed her as Marketing Director. Katrin Schilz will become the new Camp Lead in Germany on January 1, 2025.

Silke Grell has been Marketing Director at fritz-kola since May 2021. Under her leadership, the Hamburg-based drinks manufacturer's marketing was rebuilt and successful campaigns such as "das gute schläft nie", "mund auf für toleranz" and "kola mit k" were created. Grell was also largely responsible for the design relaunch of fritz-kola and oversaw the introduction of new products such as fritz-kola superzero. Grell's expertise in beverages - with 14 years of experience at Bacardi - makes her the ideal candidate to lead the Austrian market. Grell says: "Even in turbulent times, we have managed to position and further strengthen fritz-kola as a brand with a clear attitude and a combination of fun and responsibility, and I am very proud of this and would like to thank my great marketing team! Now I'm looking forward to the new task of further expanding fritz-kola in Austria."

Klaus Schmäing is taking on the role of Marketing Director at fritz-kola. With many years of experience in marketing and sales at international companies such as Beiersdorf, Carlsberg and Burger King, Schmäing inspires with his passion for strategic brand development, creative and bold campaigns and innovation. Schmäing explains: "Being able to lead a love brand like fritz-kola is a very special task. And the vision that Mirco and Florian have presented makes it even more exciting. A big compliment to Silke Grell and her team for their hard work in recent years. I am very much looking forward to taking the next steps with the team."

The German team will be led by Katrin Schilz as Camp Lead Germany. As a sales professional, Schilz has extensive experience and a network in the beverage industry. After many years at AB InBev and Paulaner, she will give fritz-kola new impetus in Germany. Schilz comments: "For me, fritz-kola is one of the companies with a clear attitude and a long-term, sustainable focus. I look forward to working with the strong German team to expand fritz-kola's success, especially in southern Germany."
