Completely relaxed: Gerolsteiner Hemp Infusion
News General news
Gerolsteiner continues innovation offensive in the refreshment segment.
Gerolsteiner picks up on the hemp trend and launches a real innovation on the market with Gerolsteiner Hemp Infusion: Fine sparkling Gerolsteiner mineral water with a slight hemp note meets apple or lemon. 2.5 percent hemp infusion provides a fine hemp flavor. Since the infusion is made from brewed hemp leaves low in cannabinoids, it contains only traces of cannabidiol (CBD). The limited edition, which will be launched in September, comes in two trendy design variants. The target group is younger, brand-oriented consumers. The two varieties, Hemp Apple and Hemp Lemon, have a fruit juice content of 4 and 5 percent, respectively, and are low in calories at just 15 kcal per 100 ml. The container is the Gerolsteiner 0.5-liter PET disposable bottle - handy and practical for on the go. The packaging is made of 50 percent recycled PET. Gerolsteiner Hemp Infusion makes people curious to try it. Attractive mix displays at the POS support this effect. The launch of the limited edition is accompanied by high-reach social media communication.
With the hemp drink, Gerolsteiner 2021 is setting a further innovation impulse in the soft drinks segment, following the launch of the new product lines Gerolsteiner Leichte Schorle (January) and Gerolsteiner Leichte Limo (July) as well as the introduction of the 6 x 0.75 liter returnable glass container for five Gerolsteiner soft drinks classics (July). The mineral spring from the Volcanic Eifel, the market leader among branded mineral waters in Germany according to the Nielsen Retail Panel, intends to further expand its market position in soft drinks alongside its core business of mineral water, focusing on quality, sustainability, and innovation. For 2021 and the coming years, Gerolsteiner has further new soft drinks in the pipeline and intends to score points with innovations in a variety of ways through products and packaging.
