Gerolsteiner: From the end of October in the gastronomy - The colorful world of Mikail Akar

Mikail Akar began painting at the age of four. He quickly turned out to be a natural talent with an extraordinary feeling for colors and shapes. Today, the now nine-year-old, whose models can be found in abstract painting and pop art, already has his own studio in downtown Cologne. His paintings have been exhibited in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia and even in New York.

As part of a cooperation, the young artist has exclusively designed labels for Gerolsteiner's gastronomy gourmet containers (0.75-liter, 0.5-liter and 0.25-liter refillable glass). The familiar label colors for the three mineral water varieties Gerolsteiner Sprudel (gray), Gerolsteiner Medium (green) and Gerolsteiner Naturell (blue) remain as distinguishing features in the powerfully colorful Artist Edition and help with quick recognition of the three variants.

The Gerolsteiner Gastronomie Edition will be delivered from week 41/42 and can therefore be seen in restaurants from the end of October. Gerolsteiner is accompanying the project on social media. The kick-off and basis is a True View Long Format video shot at Gerolsteiner in the Volcanic Eifel, which portrays Mikail Akar, shows how he works and conveys a vivid image of the cooperation.
