GLUG24 - Successful second edition sets standards for the beverage industry
News General news
GLUG24, the leading meeting place for beer and beverage producers, successfully concluded its second edition. With an impressive 110 exhibitors and 691 visitors, the event was completely sold out. The variety of products and services presented ranged from raw materials to production and filling systems to packaging solutions such as bottles, cans and PET bottles. Labels, cardboard packaging and operating materials for logistics and hygiene also attracted a great deal of interest.
The highlight of the event was the 2nd GLUG Brewers Challenge, in which 12 breweries presented their products in the ale and lager categories. A key criterion was the use of Swiss malt. The Baar brewery triumphed in the lager category, while the Brauhofer brewery came out on top in the ale category. The Brauhofer brewery from Rothrist was also crowned Aargau Canton Beer 2024 with its ale beer.
The GLUG24 supporting programme not only offered an impressive trade fair, but also informative presentations and lively panel discussions, which was well received by the participants. The networking evening with musical entertainment encouraged around 290 guests to network and exchange ideas.
