New backwash filters from Grünbeck operate manually or fully automatically
With innovative functions and design features, Grünbeck simplifies both the installation and operation of the two protective filters MR and MRA. Thanks to the pre-assembly of all components, installation is completed in just a few minutes. In the MRA automatic version, the control unit is already mounted directly on the filter. The rotatable control housing ensures convenient operation regardless of the direction of flow. In addition, guided commissioning via colour display ensures fast, intuitive and error-free installation.
For remote monitoring and control, the MRA version has an integrated bus interface and fault detection as well as a potential-free contact, whereby the current system status is always displayed. The optional pressure sensors, which can be retrofitted quickly and easily, automatically trigger a backwash when the water pressure decreases due to filter contamination. In addition, a warning message can be issued if the pressure is too low. The limit value for this can be set individually. This ensures the protection of downstream systems in every installation situation. The MRA automatic filters have another accessory, the safety solenoid valve, which can be retrofitted as an option. In the event of a power failure, this closes the flow to the channel and thus prevents unnecessary water loss.
The manual backwash filter MR can be integrated into the Grünbeck myProduct app, which reminds you to backwash in time. Both filter variants are hot water resistant up to 90 °C and have a high-quality filter element made of stainless steel mesh, which ensures reliable protection against minute particles. An integrated scraper brush enables additional mechanical cleaning of the filter element during backwashing
