Softening water - easier and more effective than ever before

More and more private households are recognising the benefits of softened water. This makes calcified pipes, taps, household appliances etc. a thing of the past. The new softliQ:SE from Grünbeck makes the decision in favour of a small softening system easier. Never before has such a system been so easy to install and operate and, with the help of artificial intelligence, so efficient.

A lot of development work has gone into the latest generation of Grünbeck's softliQ:SE small water softener. After numerous successful tests, it will be available on the market from June 2024 and offers many different advantages.

Particularly helpful for tradespeople: in combination with the equally new cliQlock module system, the softliQ:SE can be installed without tools and in a matter of seconds. The form-fit design replaces conventional screw connections and therefore time-consuming pipework. Click and seal - installation is that simple. The cliQlock components can be adapted to the respective flow direction of the pipework in just a few seconds by simply twisting them.

The unique cliQlock system is accompanied by a high degree of flexibility for the tradesman and his end customer. For example, if the latter only wants to use a pureliQ filter in advance, but later decides to install an additional softening system, this will no longer be a problem. This is because the softliQ:SE can simply be retrofitted to the existing 100 mm pipework - again in a matter of seconds and without the need for time-consuming installation work.

Another highlight of the softliQ:SE series becomes apparent during initial commissioning. The completely new user interface is clearly structured and yet familiar. Configuration and monitoring can also be carried out in the familiar way while on the move - with the improved and redesigned Grünbeck myProduct app. Its navigation has been adapted to the user interface of the system, simplified and standardised.

The app allows the system to be operated from anywhere, although this is hardly necessary. This is because the new softliQ:SE usually knows best when how much water is needed and in what quality. Based on over 200,000 user profiles and with the help of artificial intelligence, Grünbeck has developed a consumption control system that constantly adapts to the user's needs. This so-called "iQ-Mode" combines all previous operating modes (Comfort, Eco, Power, Individual and Fix).

First-class water quality is therefore always guaranteed. A positive side effect: the salt consumption required for softening is reduced to a minimum, which protects the environment and saves money. If more soft water is required for a short time, boost mode can be activated at the touch of a button to cover high consumption.

The temperature sensor in the softliQ:SE24 version ensures greater safety and convenience. If the room temperature falls below 4 °C, a warning message appears on the display and via the myProduct app, preventing frost damage to water pipes and appliances. In addition, this intelligent temperature sensor ensures that disinfection intervals are automatically adjusted to the water and room temperature. This means that disinfection is only carried out when necessary. This saves resources and is good for the environment.
