Riegele BierManufaktur introduces new wood barrel-aged vintage beer in a strictly limited edition
For years, Riegele BierManufaktur has stood for unusual brewing specialties, creativity and quality. In 2021, the brewers around 13-star brewmaster Frank Müller and beer sommelier world champion Sebastian Priller-Riegele have also dedicated themselves to a topic that is considered royalty in the industry: wood barrel aging. "Edition Riesling," the seventh creation from the Magnus vintage beer series, captivates with notes of quince, apple, and peach, a balanced sweetness-acidity play, and herbaceous barrel notes. For those relaxed moments of pure enjoyment.
Long aging in real Riesling barrels
"Multi-layered in aroma, complex in body and fruity in memory" is how beer sommelier world champion Sebastian Priller-Riegele describes the Magnus 21 "Edition Riesling" creation. A particularly well-balanced strong beer specialty perfectly complements fresh must from Riesling grapes, which was specially fermented with a wine yeast from the Riegele yeast bank. A complex cuvée process ensures the perfect balance of fruity and malty notes and the special aroma of noble Riesling grapes. This specialty is best enjoyed at a cool 6-8°C.
Strictly limited to 1001 bottles
With the Edition Magnus 21, Riegele BierManufaktur is addressing absolute connoisseurs. Strictly limited to 1001 bottles each in the 0.75l and 0.33l variants, the high-quality black bottle also impresses visually with its discreet labeling.
