Mangaroca Batida and Barceló at the Bar Convent Berlin 2023
News General news
Shake it, mix it, drink it - it will soon be said again at the Bar Convent Berlin 2023. With two eye-catching brand stands and attractive product experiences, Henkell Freixenet will once again be represented at the world's largest trade fair for the bar and spirits industry from 09 to 11 October.
Bar Convent Berlin is the leading international trade fair for the bar and beverage industry. Whether bar owners, bartenders, distributors or manufacturers: every year, professionals from the beverage industry come to Berlin from almost 90 countries to make contacts, find out about innovations and trends or get further training in seminars. This year, Henkell Freixenet - represented by the internationally renowned spirits brands Mangaroca Batida and Barceló - will be there again.
The Mangaroca Batida stand with its exotic beach bar look offers pure Brazilian lifestyle in addition to seating at the bar under real palm trees. Exclusive drinks with the key products Mangaroca Batida de Côco and Pura Côco will be offered for tasting. A special Mangaroca Batida impulse will be given this year by a stylishly branded ice cream van. Visitors to the stand can try refreshing coconut ice rolls made directly from the popular coconut liqueur.
At Barceló, everything on the 40 m2 stand this time revolves around the traditional Dominican colmado culture. (Note: Colmados are small shops in the Dominican Republic that offer small quantities of everyday necessities and spread a certain bar flair through music). In the "Bodega Barceló", the entire Imperial Rare Blends Collection is available for tasting. This includes the Imperial Porto Cask, which was launched in Germany this year, as well as the complementary varieties Maple and Mizunara - both not yet available in Germany. Culinary treats for the senses round off the tasting experience of the Rare Blends Collection. The extraordinary creations will be presented to visitors by Nic Shanker from the "Starkeepers" crew. As with classic colmados, there will also be music and dancing at the Barceló stand. This is made possible by a Silent Party, which rounds off the brand experience with Caribbean Reggaeton sounds through headphones. Those who want to dive even deeper into the world of Dominican rum can talk to international Barceló brand ambassadors from France, Austria and the Czech Republic at the stand and behind the bar. Otto Flores, Global Brand Ambassador Barceló, from the Dominican Republic will also be on site again this year.
