Martin Schröder becomes new Managing Director of the FKN

Martin Schröder will take over the management of the Fachverband Kartonverpackungen für flüssige Nahrungsmittel e.V. (FKN) as of 1 June 2023. He succeeds Michael Kleene, who is retiring after more than 30 years of successful association work.
The 43-year-old Schröder comes from the recycling and environmental service providers ALBA and Interzero, where he was responsible for political lobbying as Head of Public Affairs.

Schröder, a political scientist, brings many years of experience in the field of circular economy and raw materials policy. Since 2019, he represented the political affairs of ALBA Group (later ALBA/Interzero). From 2017 to 2019, he headed the Berlin office of the French environmental services provider SUEZ (now PreZero). Before that, he worked for several years in various positions in the areas of circular economy, raw materials policy and sustainability at the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
