New and limited: Störtebeker Frühlings-Bock

Fresh and hoppy and only available for a short time: the new Störtebeker Frühlings-Bock sweetens the coming season as a limited brewing speciality. With fresh hop notes and a light caramel sweetness, it is the perfect accompaniment to seasonal delicacies such as wild garlic and asparagus.
In keeping with the first warm rays of sunshine of the year, Störtebeker Braumanufaktur is presenting its latest creation: the hoppy-fresh Störtebeker Frühlings-Bock is now available as a limited edition brewing speciality on retail shelves across Germany. "Northern Germany is the home of bock beer, it was invented here," reveals Mathias Gaulke, Deputy Head of Bottling at Störtebeker Braumanufaktur. "In addition to the Stark beer and Nordik Porter, which can be found in the Störtebeker range all year round, we are now closing another gap in the brewery's flavour portfolio with the new spring bock," continues Gaulke. The limited brew impresses with velvety, full-bodied malt flavours of biscuit and caramel and shines in a light amber colour. Various hop varieties from the Hallertau region lend floral, fresh hop notes of peach and ripe pear as well as a moderate bitterness. This makes the new brewing speciality the perfect accompaniment to fresh spring dishes such as pasta with wild garlic pesto and green asparagus or traditional Easter ham.
