New varieties for the Berentzen and Puschkin brands: Berentzen Group starts the spring season with product innovations

Berentzen Cherry Banana Cream - indulgence with summer flair
From the beginning of March, the new vegan cream liqueur Cherry Banana Cream from the Berentzen brand will be added to the Summer Edition portfolio. The creamy liqueur combines the fruity taste of cherry and banana - known as “Kiba” - and replaces Berentzen Raspberry Cream as the first vegan variety in the popular Summer Edition range.

“Cream liqueurs are still very much in vogue. With its completely vegan recipe, our new Cherry Banana Cream is a real enrichment for the spirits shelf,” says Frederik Bergmann, Director Corporate Marketing at the Berentzen Group. The new liqueur can be enjoyed neat, on ice or in a cocktail.

The Berentzen Summer Edition cream liqueurs replace the Berentzen Winter Creamer for seasonal reasons. In addition to the new variant, the established Passionfruit Cream and Coco Pineapple Cream varieties are also available again. The recommended retail price for Berentzen Cherry Banana Cream is EUR 8.99 per 0.7l bottle. In addition to an attention-grabbing social media campaign, the market launch will be accompanied by marketing activities at the POS.

Berentzen Lemon - Fresh variety for every celebration
Another product launch follows at the beginning of April: the new Berentzen Lemon variety provides fruity-fresh moments of pleasure in the fruit liqueur range.

“Lemon flavored liqueurs have become an absolute must-have in the summer months in recent years and are currently very popular with consumers,” says Bergmann. The new Berentzen lemon offers a variety of options for fruity enjoyment - pure, on ice or as a mix in long drinks, for example with mineral water, ice and fresh mint.

Like the other Berentzen Fruchtigen varieties, the new Berentzen Zitrone will be available all year round. The recommended retail price is EUR 7.49 per 0.7l bottle. The market launch will be accompanied on social media.

Puschkin Salted Caramel - the trendy flavor for party nights
From May 2025, Puschkin Salted Caramel will add a unique flavor to the popular Puschkin liqueur range. The combination of sweet caramel and a pinch of salt will particularly appeal to young, party-loving adults aged 18 and over. “With Puschkin Salted Caramel, we are taking a flavor that has been very popular with users in related food categories for years and transferring it to the beverage category. And for good reason, because our Pushkin community loves exceptional variety,” explains Bergmann.

The product launch will be supported by a high-reach sampling campaign from June. When buying a bottle of Puschkin Vodka from the Puschkin Vodka displays, customers will receive the new Puschkin Salted Caramel or the Puschkin Ice Mint as a 0.02l PET mini to try.

The recommended retail price for Puschkin Salted Caramel is EUR 8.29 per 0.7l bottle. The new liqueur will be available throughout the Puschkin range from May.

Focus on core brands
In the Group strategy “Building BERENTZEN 2028” published in 2024, the Berentzen Group announced a stronger focus on the Group's core brands. These also include the two spirits brands Berentzen and Puschkin. “With the current product launches, we are not only showing a spirit of innovation in our strategic core brands, but are also focusing on target group-oriented products that are in tune with the times,” concludes Bergmann.
