There are many specific phobias - but did you know that there are people who are afraid of wine?
Oenophobia (ancient Greek: oinos = wine, phobos = fear) describes a pathological fear of wine.
This fear may not only relate to the consumption, smell or sight of wine. In some cases, sufferers are also unable to tolerate people who drink wine. A cosy get-together with friends or a party can become a torture for oenophobics.
