Seal of quality for Berentzen Group subsidiary: Pabst & Richarz wins multiple awards
News General news
Numerous product innovations from Pabst & Richarz Vertriebs GmbH in Minden, a subsidiary of Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft, were awarded the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) industry prize and the DLG (German Agricultural Society) seal of approval. A total of 31 gold, eight silver, and five bronze medals were awarded.
"We are proud of the numerous awards. We are pleased that our work convinces industry experts and quality inspectors equally and comprehensively," says Pabst & Richarz Managing Director Jörg Peissker. For example, the premium vodka Wallenstein was awarded gold by both the IWSC and the DLG. Also highly awarded were the premium vodka MINDIN and the rum Paul & Virginie - each with IWSC silver and DLG gold.
As one of the world's most influential awards in the beverage industry, the International Wine & Spirit Competition has been evaluating the quality of wines and spirits from around the world for almost fifty years. Judging is based on blind tasting and subsequent chemical analysis.
The DLG quality test focuses on test criteria such as appearance, color, clarity, aroma, taste, typicity and harmony. The results of the sensory evaluations are supplemented by laboratory tests and packaging and labeling tests.
"The awards make it clear what the team at Pabst & Richarz has created together in recent years: innovative and high-quality retail and exclusive brand concepts that convince in many respects. An excellent incentive for us to continue pursuing our strategy of tailored premium concepts for the trade," Peissker concludes.
