Philipp Herold assumes overall management of marketing at Erdinger Weissbräu

Philipp Herold (38) has been responsible for the overall management of marketing at the private brewery Erdinger Weißbräu Werner Brombach GmbH since September 1, 2024. He succeeds Wolfgang Kuffner, who has been Managing Director Marketing and Sales at the private brewery since July 1, 2024.
Philipp Herold started his career at ERDINGER Weißbräu in October 2012 as Head of Trade Fairs & Events. Four years later, the sports economics graduate (University of Bayreuth) was also appointed Head of Sponsorship at the private brewery. Wolfgang Kuffner emphasizes: “Philipp Herold has been instrumental in the successful positioning of the ERDINGER brand worlds over the past decade, for ERDINGER Alkoholfrei in the development of the ERDINGER Active TEAM into one of the strongest endurance sports communities in Germany, in the signing of two-time Ironman Hawaii winner Patrick Lange and in the establishment of the ERDINGER Active Tour, in which around 650,000 finishers of over 120 sporting events are refreshed with ERDINGER Alkoholfrei every year. Philipp also played a leading role in shaping the ERDINGER Meister Cup, one of the largest small-sided soccer tournament series in Germany, and the strong brand image of ERDINGER Brauhaus. We are therefore delighted to have found the ideal person for the overall management of marketing within our own ranks.”
