Private Brauereien Bayern: Kilian Kittl expands the association's management team

Kilian Kittl joined the association in May 2020 after working in plant engineering and the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to this, he trained as a brewer and maltster in a medium-sized brewery and studied brewing at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan. At Privaten Brauereien Bayern, in addition to providing technical advice to member breweries, he was particularly responsible for the further development of the European Beer Star beer competition. In future, the 36-year-old will support the association's management team led by Stefan Stang and Mario Schäfer.

“As an excellent networker, Kilian Kittl has made our association and the European Beer Star even better known in recent years, both nationally and internationally, and helped them to gain more visibility. As Managing Director, he will therefore take over the management of the Events division in future. This naturally includes the strategic and operational management of our renowned European Beer Star beer competition,” says Georg Rittmayer, President of Private Brauereien Bayern.
