With the Brand Award, absatzwirtschaft, Germany's highest-circulation monthly magazine for marketing, and the German Marketing Association (DMV) honor excellent achievements in brand management in five categories. A top-class jury of experts from management, marketing, media and agencies decides on the respective winners. On July 15, the finalists of the Brand Award appeared before this jury for a video presentation. The jury then voted on the winners, who were announced and celebrated at a live stream event on August 24, 2021. A total of 27 brand submissions were considered for the 2021 Brand Award, from which the winners have now been chosen.

Traditional brand Rotbäckchen honored for best brand extension
The "Best Brand Extension" category honors brands that have attracted attention through the excellent transfer or further development of an established brand to a new product group, new market segments or new target groups. The brand, which belongs to the family-owned company Haus Rabenhorst, has now been named the winner of the "Best Brand Extension" category for the project it submitted, "Introducing the Rotbäckchen Power Packs". The juice experts from Unkel on the Rhine have thus impressively demonstrated how a brand that has been in existence since 1952 can successfully develop and launch new product groups - in this case the trendy direct juice shots, which Rotbäckchen calls "power packs". The traditional company is thus working in tune with the times and regularly impresses with modern, innovative product concepts: with the convenience product of the small power packs, Rotbäckchen serves a modern target group that appreciates handy on-the-go formats and places a great deal of emphasis on conscious, natural nutrition.

The power pack range currently includes three products:
- Rotbäckchen Kraftpaket Immunschutz is a harmoniously balanced multi-fruit direct juice made from red grapes and apples as well as delicious raspberry pulp. With the supplemented vitamin C and zinc, the power pack provides nutrients for the whole day. Zinc and vitamin C support normal immune system function. Two sips of health - that the whole family will enjoy.

- A combination of red grapes, apples and cherries as well as elderberry provides a natural fruity taste in Rotbäckchen Kraftpaket Concentration. With the addition of vitamin C, iron and niacin, it offers important nutrients. Iron contributes to normal cognitive function, while vitamin C increases iron absorption and niacin contributes to normal nervous system function.

- Rotbäckchen Kraftpaket Vitaminkick is a dietary supplement based on natural ingredients and will complement the delicious Kraftpakete from September 2021. Made with direct juices from apples and white grapes, combined with mango and banana pulp and supplemented with vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E, K as well as biotin, folic acid, niacin and pantothenic acid, the little shot supplies the body with no less than twelve valuable vitamins in just two sips and is thus ideally suited for children, adolescents and adults.
