Schweppes expands returnable range

In addition to the right size for the individual consumption occasion, sustainability is also an increasingly important factor in the purchasing decision. With its comprehensive product portfolio and different packaging units, Schweppes serves both taste and container diversity. Now, the market leader in the bitter beverage segment is expanding its range with two more returnable containers, thus strengthening its range of sustainable beverage packaging.

From mid-August, the popular Schweppes Russian Wild Berry variety will also be available in sustainable glass containers in the retail and food service sectors.

Range expansion: Schweppes Russian Wild Berry and Herbal Tonic Water in reusable containers.

The 0.75-liter refillable glass bottle - newly introduced in August 2020 - is getting a new addition: from mid-August, the popular Schweppes Russian Wild Berry variety will also be available in sustainable glass containers in the retail and food service sectors. With four varieties in the large format of the iconic Alice bottle - Russian Wild Berry, Indian Tonic Water, Dry Tonic Water and Original Bitter Lemon - Schweppes is offering users even more variety in their choice and is also relying on sustainable glass containers to expand its range. The launch of Schweppes Russian Wild Berry in the 0.75l refillable glass bottle will be accompanied by triple displays including Indian Tonic Water and Dry Tonic Water at the POS.

From mid-October, the latest addition to the Classic Range, Schweppes Herbal Tonic Water, will also be available at retail in a 1l returnable bottle and in a practical 6x1l returnable crate. The youngest member of the Schweppes tonic water family has already found many fans since its launch (March 2021) and convinces with a hint of tangy lemon and fine herbal notes, including rosemary, thyme, oregano and marjoram, both neat and in the mix.
