SLYRS Bavarian Whisky Distillery once again lives up to its reputation as a whisky pioneer and wins the award for German Whisky of the Year 2023 at this year's Meininger's International Spirits Award as well as a total of five golds!
We are proud to present our winners at the Meininger's International Spirits Award 2023! With a total of five gold awards, both our Finish Range and the SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Fifty One were able to fully convince the jury. We are especially pleased about the award for our SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Rum Cask Finish as German Whisky of the Year 2023!

"The German whisky pioneers from Schliersee once again show why they play in the top league. After maturing for more than five years in American white oak barrels, the characteristic single malt enjoys a finish in barrels that previously housed rum from the Caribbean - including Rhum Agricole. The mild Bavarian barley harmonises perfectly with the fruit bouquet and hints of chamomile and beeswax that bring the finish."
