St. Kilian Distillers presents exclusive single malt whiskies and new pistachio cream liqueur for the Spencer Hill Festival 2024

This year's Spencer Hill Festival will take place in Ilmenau, Thuringia, on September 6 and 7, 2024. To mark this special occasion, the award-winning German whisky distillery St. Kilian Distillers and Paloma Productions Media und Marketing GmbH are presenting two limited edition single malt whiskies. These exclusive bottlings, each limited to 1,000 bottles, bear the illustrious names "The Devil's Right Hand" and "The Devil's Left Hand". Inspired by the 1970 cult film of the same name, these whiskies not only pay homage to the two main characters "Tired Joe" and "The Little One", but also offer a unique taste experience.

"The Devil's Right Hand" - The Tired Joe
This limited special edition from St. Kilian Distillers was created on behalf of Paloma Productions Media und Marketing GmbH. As the exclusive rights holder of the Terence Hill brand, Paloma Productions also represents numerous TV and home entertainment productions featuring the cult actor. This single malt whisky, developed for the official Terence Hill Shop, reflects the sophistication and lightness of the tired Joe with a seductively creamy sweetness of vanilla and delicate toffee as well as the exotic fruitiness of peach, pineapple and banana. The maturation in fine ex Rhum Agricole casks from the Caribbean makes this special edition a balanced and multi-layered composition that will delight both beginners and experienced whisky lovers.

"The Left Hand of the Devil" - The little one
In contrast to this is the powerful yet harmonious creation dedicated to Bud Spencer, alias "The Little One". With intense fruity notes of ripe cherries, red grapes and juicy strawberries, complemented by warming oak spice and a hint of dark chocolate, this single malt whisky embodies the unshakeable strength and unmistakable charm of The Little One. Careful maturation in selected ex Ripasso and ex Amarone red wine casks gives this full-bodied special edition its deep and complex flavors.

Available in a limited edition since August 27, 2024
Both single malt whisky special editions are neither colored nor chill-filtered and bottled at perfect drinking strength with an alcohol content of 46% vol. in the iconic 0.7-litre bottle. "Die Rechte Hand des Teufels" and "Die Linke Hand des Teufels" are limited to 1,000 bottles each and will be available online from August 27 at St. Kilian Distillers and directly on site in the store of the visitor distillery in Rüdenau. The recommended retail price for the 0.7 liter bottle is € 59.90.

Pistachio cream liqueur "Johnny Firpo - Homemade - Ein Klitze Pistazie"
At the Spencer Hill Festival 2024 in Ilmenau, visitors will not only be able to taste the two single malt whiskies, but also enjoy the pistachio cream liqueur "Johnny Firpo - Homemade - Ein Klitze Pistazie", which was created exclusively for the event. This premium liqueur from St. Kilian Distillers pays homage to a scene from the turbulent action comedy "Zwei sind nicht zu bremsen". In it, Johnny drives his half-brother Charlie to the brink of despair with his insistent demand for a tiny blob of pistachio ice cream.

The combination of high-quality cream and delicious pistachio gives the liqueur a full-bodied and creamy taste that is a delight both neat and on ice. Limited to 500 bottles, the pistachio cream liqueur will be available online and in the Besucher distillery store from September 5, 2024. The recommended retail price for the 0.7 liter bottle with 20% alcohol by volume is € 29.90.
