Tetra Pak considers closing the French site in Dijon

Beverage carton manufacturer Tetra Pak has unveiled plans for the possible closure of its Dijon plant in France.

The company stated that it had initiated an information and consultation process that could lead to the activities of its subsidiary Papeteries de Dijon being discontinued and the site being closed. A total of 207 employees would be affected.

Tetra Pak explained that falling demand and rising costs had presented the plant with major challenges in recent years.
