Trend Day Glass 2024: Top-class program in Cologne

This year's industry event for the container glass industry will take place on September 19 in the elegant Palais der Flora in Cologne. Guests can expect a varied congress day, inspired by key speaker Jan Fleischhauer, exciting practical insights and entertaining presentations.

On September 19, 2024, the Glass Packaging Action Forum will be inviting representatives and decision-makers from the bottling industry and trade to the 17th Glass Trend Day. The Palais der Flora in the botanical gardens in Cologne will provide a magnificent setting for the eagerly awaited industry event. Between 10.30 am and 4.40 pm, there will be a mix of informative presentations by top-class speakers and exciting practical insights from the food and beverage industry.

This year, Jan Fleischhauer, an astute observer and bestselling author, will give the keynote speech. The former "Spiegel" editor and current "Focus" columnist will look at current political and social developments, focusing on "The enemies of freedom".

Prof. Dr. Christian Rieck is Professor of Finance and Economic Theory and is known for his numerous publications on game theory and finance. He explains the principle of coopetition, i.e. the interplay between competition and cooperation. Alexander Schwarz, Director Consumer Panel Services GfK, will analyze the tension between consumer budgets and the desire for more.

Of course, there will also be exciting practical insights this year: Mario Fürst, founder and CEO of Kloster Kitchen, a brand of curameo AG, will show how old knowledge can be rethought and turned into success. Wolfgang Schötz, Head of Sustainability Management and Pia Munschek-Jung, Head of Corporate Communications at Krombacher Brauerei, will report on the company's sustainability activities. Felicitas von Heinz, Managing Director of Nabio at NABA Feinkost, will show how a family business is redefining organic in a glass.
