USA, SC: Velo Fellows public house and brewery to close in December
News General news
Velo Fellow, a public house and brewery in Greenville, announced on November 8 that it is planning to close in December, Fox Carolina reported.
The public house posted on Instagram that it plans to permanently close the week of Dec. 8 after being in operation for 14 years.
The post said that the decision to close was made due to the rising costs of rent and bar/liability insurance.
Velo Fellow also announced, however, that it already has many live shows and events booked during its last four weeks in operation, and the staff wants to have as many customers as possible come out and pay their respects to the longtime establishment before it closes.
“Velo without a doubt has earned its reputation as one of the most unique & one-of-a-kind establishments in town. For many people in the community Velo has become like a second home, and that’s extremely special to us,” the public house said.
