Uwe Albershardt to leave Team Beverage Executive Board

Uwe Albershardt (60) will give up his seat on the Board of Team Beverage AG as of Aug. 31, 2021. He has been a member of the Executive Board of Team Beverage AG since its foundation in 2016. Prior to that, coming from AB InBev as a marketing and sales specialist, he had already been responsible for the Wholesale/Gastronomy division as Managing Director of the NGV Beverage Group (Nordmann Group of Companies) since 2007.

The task of working with my fellow board members and shareholders to develop Team Beverage into a platform that drives our industry forward has been a fulfilling challenge. At Team Beverage, we have colleagues with competence and expertise who will take over the baton and set new accents. I am pleased that I will be able to continue to set a new course for Team Beverage and other ventures in the beverage industry in an advisory and supportive capacity, but that I will also have more time for private concerns," says Uwe Albershardt.

Following the departure of Uwe Albershardt, Team Beverage's Executive Board will remain reduced to two people: Dr. Thomas Spiegel (CEO) will be responsible for the Convenience & System Customers business units, as well as the new gastivo platform in the future. In addition, his areas of responsibility include IT, Finance and Business Development. Jens Armbrust will remain responsible for the Retail division and will now take over Wholesale/Gastronomy. In addition, he will in future also be responsible for Own Brands, Corporate Marketing, and Human Resources.
