Expansion as an all-rounder beverage: Valensina expands its portfolio

Valensina already added iced teas and lemonades to its range in 2024, but this is by no means the end of the story: In addition to line extenders with new flavors, Valensina will also be conquering other new categories this year: spritzers and energy drinks. The beverage manufacturer from Mönchengladbach is thus continuing on its path to becoming an all-rounder on the non-alcoholic beverage shelf.

At Valensina, innovation meets a trusted traditional brand whose products provide a sunny zest for life, sip after sip. The new products will expand the target group and create the right range of drinks for the whole family - from young to old. Tino Mocken, Managing Director of the Valensina Group, explains the plans for 2025: “In 2024, we set the course to develop from a juice brand to a beverage brand with special fruit expertise. We will continue on this path in 2025 by further optimizing and expanding our new concepts. The new brand concept and the growing variety of flavors are designed to appeal to a broad target group with proven Valensina quality at an attractive price-performance ratio.”

Expanding fruit expertise to other beverage categories
New flavors, light variants and innovative products: Valensina meets consumers' needs for enjoyment, variety, lightness, naturalness and transparency. Iced teas and energy drinks are becoming increasingly popular, especially among younger consumers.

Tino Mocken sees great potential in fruit juice-related segments: “We expect demand for beverages with a lower fruit content, such as fruit juice drinks and spritzers, to continue to rise. This development is due to higher raw material prices for many fruits on the one hand and the trend towards reduced sugar consumption on the other.”

New ways of marketing
As part of the recipe and product development of the new fruit juice spritzers, Valensina is cooperating for the first time with a well-known German content creator, who will also support the various social media measures for the product launch. The fruity drink will be presented with a good dose of humor.
