With the new “Virgin Orange Spritz”, the brand is expanding its non-alcoholic Virgin range with a special refreshment with tangy, tart orange and a fine herbal note. Whether pure as a refreshing lemonade or mixed with (non-alcoholic) sparkling wine for a perfect aperitif - Virgin Orange Spritz is the ideal refreshment for any occasion.

A sparkling addition to the Schweppes Virgin range
Schweppes Virgin Mojito has been a popular non-alcoholic cocktail alternative with the taste of lime and mint since 2022 and has now established itself as one of the brand's top varieties. Now comes the expansion of the Schweppes Virgin range with Virgin Orange Spritz.

“With Virgin Orange Spritz, we are building on the success of our Virgin Mojito, which is particularly popular with younger consumers. We are convinced that the exciting combination of fruity orange flavor, subtle herbal notes and the typical Schweppes sparkle will be just as popular. Whether for a picnic in the park, a garden party or simply on the go - Virgin Orange Spritz offers versatile moments of pleasure for every occasion,” explains Tobias Liesenfeld, Head of Marketing Schweppes Germany/Austria.

Stylish can format for on the go
To coincide with the launch of the new product, Schweppes is also expanding its container portfolio in Germany: Virgin Orange Spritz and Virgin Mojito are available for the first time in a handy 0.33-liter can format. The stylish, slim cans are ideal for enjoying on the go - whether ready-to-drink as a pure refreshment or as a mix to simply “infuse” with (non-alcoholic) sparkling wine or Prosecco. Schweppes is also setting new trends in can design, underlining the potential of its Virgin range, particularly among younger target groups.

In addition to the new can, Virgin Orange Spritz will also be available throughout Germany in the familiar 1.25-liter non-returnable and 1.0-liter returnable bottles.

The launch will be accompanied by an eye-catching campaign across all relevant classic and digital channels. The focus will be on activations during the summer months that bring the new Schweppes refreshment to life.
