Industry Expert Uwe Albershardt Becomes New Managing Director Sales and Marketing at Warsteiner

With Uwe Albershardt, an extremely experienced manager from the industry completes the management level of the Warsteiner Group. The 60-year-old can look back on more than three decades of sales and marketing experience in the beverage industry, including more than 18 years in brewing. Among other things, Albershardt led the Beck's brand as Brand Director at the former Beck & Co. brewery. Later, he also held various positions at AB InBev.

Most recently, Uwe Albershardt worked for Team Beverage AG, the market-leading purchasing, distribution, marketing and service platform for the beverage industry in Germany. There, as a member of the executive board, he was responsible for the sales channels of beverage wholesalers and restaurants, as well as for the marketing, private and exclusive brands divisions.

At the Warsteiner Group, he now heads sales in Germany as well as marketing.

"This gives us the necessary power at the start of the new year to be able to implement our ambitious goals in the market." Uwe Albershardt will take up his position in Warstein on February 1.

As a result, the management of the Warsteiner Group from 2022 will be composed as follows: Catharina Cramer (Managing Partner), Helmut Hörz (CFO and Chairman of the Management Board), Uwe Albershardt (Managing Director Sales and Marketing) and Ulrich Brendel (Managing Director Technology).
