Wodka Gorbatschow: Stylish impact at the POS

Gorbatschow, the number 1 vodka in Germany and market leader in the vodka mixes segment, is launching an eye-catching in-store promotion with its RTDs from February 2025 under the motto “Perfect double”. Shoppers can look forward to a stylish purchase bonus: exclusive tennis socks for free with the purchase of three cans of Gorbatschow Mixed.

The promotion underlines the success of the brand. All four flavors of the Gorbatschow Mixed standard range - Lemon, Maracuja, Energy and Sex on the Beach - are already among the ten best-selling RTDs in Germany. Gorbatschow therefore not only remains Germany's best-selling vodka, but is also the undisputed market leader in the vodka mixes segment. “With the in-store promotion, we are focusing on the RTDs at the point of sale and creating new buying impulses,” explains Vanessa Lehmann, Head of Communications at Henkell Freixenet. “The stylish tennis socks appeal to the young target group and arouse desire. At the same time, eye-catching secondary placements ensure maximum visibility and reinforce the purchase decision.”

Attractive displays for more attention

The promotion is presented in participating markets on decorative 1/4-chep mixed displays that can be flexibly combined:

  • 48 x Lemon and 48 x Energy
  • Or: 60 x Lemon, 48 x Passion Fruit and 36 x Sex on the Beach.

An eye-catching, branded ellipse highlights the free tennis socks and prominently emphasizes the secondary placements. This visual presence attracts additional attention and makes the promotion an eye-catcher in stores.
