The "Uzun Demleme" bottling, Turkish for "long distilled," lives up to its name. To create a Rakı in its purest form, the Yeni Rakı master distillers take a particularly long time in the new craft facility in Alaşehir. The production spans 12 days, into which unparalleled care, expertise and tradition flow. The unusually long fivefold distillation of 72 hours produces a mildly fruity character based on 100% fresh grapes and carefully selected anise seeds - with no added sugar at all!

The time-intensive distillation process is reflected as a high-quality seal on the front of the bottle, which visually underlines the premium character of this novelty in 3D optics. The careful production process uses copper kettles with a smaller capacity than is usually used in Rakı production, which allows bottling in small batches. The result is a multi-faceted Rakı experience at 45% by volume that was awarded a gold medal at the prestigious 2021 World Spirits Awards.

Perfect Serve and Food Pairing: Yeni Rakı "Uzun Demleme" as the perfect meze companion
The unique aroma interplay of sweet spice notes such as nutmeg, vanilla and licorice, as well as hints of black pepper and pine needles, make it an indispensable companion at the meze table - enjoyed in style as "lion's milk" mixed with cold water.

Yeni Rakı "Uzun Demleme" is great enjoyed with cheeses such as Ezine cheese (a Turkish brine cheese) or Bergama-Tulumu cheese (a Turkish cream cheese). It also complements fish dishes such as pickled bonito, scampi platters, stuffed mussels, sea bass and sea bream just as wonderfully, as well as not-too-spicy grilled dishes and Mediterranean specialties such as bruschetta, carpaccio and olives. Fresh oranges, peaches and nectarines also harmonize wonderfully with the flavor bouquet of Yeni Rakı "Uzun Demleme".
